Workshops Being Offered in the Winter/Spring 2012 Quad
Advice On Which Workshops to Take & Paying for Workshops
There are seven workshops offered during each quad. Three of the seven workshops are ones that are repeated every quad. These three workshops should be the first ones that you take. Although we occassionally make an exception for some of the clients who do not plan on graduating, for the most part, we consider these three workshops to be prequisites to the other workshops. These three workshop can easily be taken together during your first quad in our program. They are: The New Life In Christ, Recovery 101: Healing the Scars of Abuse, and Victory on the Battlefield of the Mind. If you can only take one workshop, we would strong suggest that it be Recovery 101: Healing the Scars of Abuse. This workshop gives you the map for your recovery, therefore, it is probably the most important workshop you will take, unless you have never made a decision to follow Christ, and ask Him to forgive the sins you have committed and then asked Him to come into your heart and make you a new creature in Christ Jesus. If you don't know what this means or know that you have not done so, we highly recommend that you take The New Life In Christ first, as it will give you the opportunity to do so. The other workshops may be taken in any order you chose, although we highly suggest that you take the 12 required workshops first.
We appreciate our clients paying for their workshops up front. Remember that workshops are $35.00 each, unless you are on scholarship and then they are $8.75 each. Scholarship applications must be in by the first Thursday of the quad. If you need to make payment arrangements, please make those arrangements at the same time you register. There is a $1.00 charge added to your bill each month that it shows a balance owed. You will not be allowed to register until any past balance is paid off. Unpaid balances will be sent to collections the second week of the new quad. For more information, please see the Financial Aid page of this website.
