Requirements for Graduating From Healing Rain Ministries
What is the advantage of graduating from the program?
You are not required to graduate from our program. It is completely okay with us if you only want to take a few workshops to help aid your healing in specific areas. Graduation does not give you a fool proof guarantee of success in your life as a thriver. It simply gives you a well rounded set of tools to use in your new life.
Although it is possible to graduate from our program in 16 months, we highly suggest that you do not try this. It is much more logical for you to expect it to take two years. This does not mean that your recovery cannot start until you have graduated. If you apply what you learn you should start to improve almost immediately. You should not, however, try to rush your recovery. Your life did not become dysfunctional overnight and you shouldn't expect to cure it overnight either. You should take your recovery at your own speed. You should also avail yourself of as many recovery tools as possible. The best way to be sure that you have done this is to graduate from our program.
Upon graduation you will receive a certificate of acheivement. This is fitting because finishing our program will be an acheivement to be proud of.
What Are the Actual Graduation Requirements?
The following requirements must be met in order to graduate from the Healing Rain Ministries Program with a Certificate of Achievement.
1. The following workshops are required. All homework assignments must be completed and a journal kept for those workshops requiring one. The midterm and final exams must be passed with an 85% or better in order to receive credit for these workshops. At least 80% of the workshop sessions must be attended.

2. In addition, the client must complete an additional four workshops from the list of elective workshops below. (The same requirements apply to these workshops that applied for receiving credit for the mandatory workshops.)

Managing Life With A Mental Illness | Assertiveness Training For Christians |
Developing Sexual Integrity | Etiquette in Everyday Life |
Living the Uncluttered and Organized Life | Advocacy and Citizenship Training |
Life Skills for 21st Century Adults | Anger Management for Christians |
Reaching Your Full Potential For God | Biblical Perspective on Healthy Living |
Learning People Skills | The Works of the Flesh and the Fruit of the Spirit |
- 1. Completion of the four CR Step Study Workbooks
- 2. Give your testimony in a Overcomer's through Christ meeting
- 3. Become an active member of a local church
- 4. Design and complete a community service project requiring no less than 10 hours to complete.
- 5. Complete an exit interview by a panel made up of your life coach, pastor, sponsor and a fellow client.
